Biography

He holds a degree in architecture and urbanism from the ETSAB (1993) and a Master’s Degree in Design and a Doctorate in Design from Harvard University (2000).

His interests have always been linked to design and creativity, and in the use and application of information technologies in architecture, especially the relationship between "architecture, information and complexity". He has also been involved in research projects on heritage and city, from the point of view of cartography and representation.

Between 2001 and 2008 he was visiting professor at the Harvard Design School, and professor at the Accademia d'architettura of the University of Italian Switzerland. Between 2006 and 2019 he taught Representation Techniques and Architecture Theory at the URV's Reus School of Architecture, where he was also head of studies and director.
