Pascal Martin holds a PhD in Psychology and a degree from Paris-Descartes Sorbonne (2003). His research and academic teaching focus on talent management, organizational psycho-sociology, the dynamics of individuals, groups and organizations, psychosocial risks, the management of prevention systems in organizations, quality of life and occupational health.

Pascal Martin contributes to enriching academic and scientific knowledge on organizational behaviour. He has contributed to collective works such as: “Management des Talents” (Talents Management) published by Editions Vuibert, Paris in 2017; “Dictionnaire de la fatigue” (Tiredness Dictionary) published by Editions Droz, Geneva in 2016; “Dictionnaire des Risques Psycho-Sociaux” (Dictionary of Psychological Social Risks) published by Editions du Seuil, Paris in 2014. The latter book received the prize from Dr René-Joseph Laufer in 2014 from the Academy of Moral and Political Sciences and the “HR Book” prize in 2015 from Syntec and Sciences Po et Le Monde.

Pascal Martin also writes scientific research articles. The article “Talent retention: Evidence from a multi-national firm in France”, co-authored with Mahrane Hofaidhllaoui, received the 2018 Excellence Award from Employee Relations journal. He also contributes as an expert on managerial issues in professional journals such as Focus RH and on professional platforms such as COPREC.

As part of his activities related to the Chair ESSCA-KPMG « Générations talents » which he ran from  2012 to 2015, Pascal Martin organized a symposium on the development of corporate talent in Boulogne-Billancourt in November 2014.

In addition, Pascal Martin works in a private practice as a Psychologist and Psychotherapist (ADELI n° 44 93 07164) and is Datadock Health Trainer certified. He also practices the Snoezelen approach, for which he has just written a book: Prendre soin par Snoezelen, another therapeutic approach published by Editions ESF, Paris in 2018. He is a member of the Association Internationale Québécoise des Intervenants en Approche Snoezelen (AQIAS) which is recognized by the International Snoezelen Association and Multi Sensory Environment (ISNA-MSE) which head office is in Denmark.
