Biography
UW Professional & Continuing Education
Pamela Maldonado works as the BurkeMobile manager at the Burke Museum of Natural History & Culture in Seattle. BurkeMobile is an education outreach program that brings facilitated, hands-on and interactive programs to schools, libraries and communities across Washington state. With her team, Maldonado is working on building relationships and partnerships, translating curriculum and collaborating on events to serve Spanish-speaking families and Latinx community members.
She serves on the Equity & Inclusion Committee (EIC) at the Burke and fosters diversity, equity, accessibility and inclusion (DEAI) and decolonization efforts. Maldonado holds a B.A. in art history and a B.A. in business administration from the University of Florida and an M.A. in Museology from the University of Washington.
