Otto Randl is Professor of Endowment Management at WU Vienna University of Economics and Business. He also is an associate faculty at VGSF Vienna Graduate School of Finance. He was a visiting scholar at the University of Calgary (2016), the University of Texas at Austin (2015), and a resident researcher at the University of Salerno (2000).Otto's research focus is at the intersection of asset pricing, financial intermediation, and corporate finance. He has published in the Review of Financial Studies, the Review of Finance, the Journal of Empirical Finance, the Journal of Investment Management, the European Economic Review, and the German Economic Review.Between his academic appointments, he held positions in the asset management industry. He has worked as a free-lance consultant in projects for banks, insurance companies and the public sector.Otto Randl received a Doctorate in Finance (2002) from the University of Vienna, a Postgradual Diploma in Finance from the Center for Central European Markets (2000), and an MSc (Diplom-Ingenieur) in Mathematics from Vienna University of Technology.
