Oliver Hein-Behrens

Biography

After studying business administration with a focus on marketing and organizational theory, Oliver worked for nine years as a PR consultant, budget director and department head for online media in well-known agencies before setting up his own business as a consultant, strategist and journalist in 1999. Oliver has also been active as a lecturer on digital topics since 2010. Currently, teaching and advising students takes up half of his working time.

He has accompanied the digital transformation of marketing and communication up close from the very beginning and is very familiar with the various online areas, both theoretically and practically. His current focus areas include digital business management, cross-media and content marketing, location-based marketing and mobile journalism. In his capacity as a lecturer, he has already implemented more than 30 university cooperation projects with companies and institutions.

His approach is to impart theoretical knowledge in a practical way in concrete tasks and projects. He enjoys looking after practical topics.

Students appreciate Oliver's competent and creative as well as intensive and individual support. Thanks to his many years of work, he has extensive and up-to-date knowledge in the digital and traditional marketing environment. He is happy to make his know-how available to students as a coach.
