GW Business
Professor Rozenbaum earned a Ph.D. in Accounting from Columbia Business School in 2014. Additionally, he holds an M.Phil. in Accounting from Columbia Business School and a B.A. in Accounting and Economics from the Hebrew University of Jerusalem. Prior to earnings his Ph.D., Professor Rozenbaum worked as a senior associate at PwC, in the Assurance Practice. At PwC, he specialized in the audit of U.S. publicly traded firms in the Telecom and Biotech industries. Additionally, he is a certified public accountant in Israel.

Research
Professor Rozenbaum’s research focuses primarily on the mapping of information into stock prices and the role of financial intermediaries in capital markets. In a recent paper, Rozenbaum shows that information and resource transfers are limited when financial analysts move across firms, suggesting that some firms are able to obtain and maintain a competitive advantage. In another paper, he shows that information intermediaries play an important role in capital markets by leveling the playing field and decreasing the information gap between different investors.
