Biography
Indian Institute of Management Indore
Nobin Thomas is an Assistant Professor of Organizational Behaviour and Human Resource Management at the Indian Institute of Management, Indore. He teaches courses in Organizational Behaviour, Organizational Theory and Social Network Analysis.
He obtained his doctoral degree in Organizational Behaviour from Indian Institute of Management Ahmedabad. He is an alumnus of Tata Institute of Social Sciences (TISS), Mumbai. He was awarded the Institute Gold Medal for Best Student and Best Research Project in M.A. (Major in Globalization and Labour). He holds a Bachelors degree in Mechanical Engineering from College of Engineering, Trivandrum.
He had a short stint with the United Nations Head Quarters, New York as a global intern. He is currently on the Advisory Board of Paul George Global School, New Delhi. His teaching interests include interpersonal and group processes, applied behavioural
His teaching interests include interpersonal and group processes, applied behavioural sciences and organizational learning. His research interests include organizational learning, family firms and social network analysis of groups and organizations. His current research focuses on how connectivity within organizations can impact performance, learning, and innovation. He has presented his research at leading international conferences including EGOS colloquium. Some recent publications:
