Hult International Business School

Nikhilesh Sinha is Professor of Economics & Finance, and Chair of Research Ethics at Hult. He teaches courses related to Economics, Politics and Sustainability at. He has served as a Hult Research Fellow at the London Campus since 2017, involved with repositioning Hult as the most relevant business school in the world, through innovative research practice. He mentored the winning team on the Hult Business Challenge in 2016 and 2017. The HBC is a consultancy challenge for final year students on the undergraduate programme, where they design solutions for clients like UBS, Amazon, McLaren and eBay

He was recently awarded a Research Grant by the Knowledge in Action for Urban Equality (KNOW) Project, a £7 million initiative funded by the Global Challenges Research Fund (GCRF) spearheaded by Prof. Caren Levy of the Bartlett Development Planning Unit UCL. The KNOW consortium comprises of researchers based at UCL, University of Sheffield, Durham University, the University of Melbourne, IIHS (Indian Institute of Human Settlements), Ardhi University, and FLACSO (Latin-American Social Sciences Institute).

Nikhilesh holds a PhD from UCL, a Masters in Economics from the University of Hyderabad, and a Master of Laws granted jointly by the Universities of Hamburg and Bologna. His research spans the fields of urban economics, institutional economics, law and economics and social business.

His interests stretch to several domains outside economics. He has hosted radio programmes for All India Radio, written anchored and produced television content for the Economic Times television channel – ET NOW , and acted and directed for the stage as a Co-Founder of Theatreworks.
