Rotman School of Management
Nicolas Inostroza is an Assistant Professor of Finance at the Rotman School of Management. He is a theorist and financial economist with a strong interest in Information Economics, Financial Intermediation, and Financial Contracting. In 2020, Nicolas became member of the Finance Theory Group (FTG). His research aims to advance our understanding of information in financial settings. He has studied the optimal design of stress tests and emergency lending mechanisms in the context of banking regulation. More recently, he has explored the interplay between information and security design in different corporate settings.
