Biography

Nicky has a background in both classical fine art and hand painted floral design. Her degree in Fine Art is from Falmouth University and her Postgrad study from The Aegean Center for Fine Arts, Greece. In 2012 she won the Royal Academy of Art's national draftsmanship scholarship taking her to study the masters at the Museo del Prado, Madrid. Following this, she took up a position as a printmaker for brand Anthropologie in Philadelphia where she learnt the ins and outs of exquisite print making for clothing. Her paintings have been in VOGUE UK, she has exhibited twice at the URBN HQs' 'Gallery 543', Philadelphia and her hand painted textiles designs have in recent years sold to GAP, Marks and Spencer, American Apparel and JCrew to name a few. In December 2018 she was featured in a 6 page spread in The World of Interiors for her work assisting Alasdair Peebles on his period Chinoiserie in Pitzhanger Manor in Ealing (open to the public!). Her studio is in London where she focuses on florals for the fashion textiles and interiors industries as well as portraiture and illustration.
