I am the director of a sustainable economics consultancy, Miller Research (UK) Ltd. They are nine people strong, values-based and attempting to be innovative in everything they do. They specialize in engagement with communities, business and skills research, program evaluation and sustainable development work. Their office is based on an organic farm with rare breed sheep and they have an ecotourism project on site. They also sponsor*an annual food conference* in association with the Abergavenny Food Festival, where issues around local food and its role in culture and economy are discussed.

My latest project is Blurrt, a social media analytics business focused on the broadcast media sector, but with applications in many sectors.

My passion is to bring about a more equitable world where people have a greater stake in community and national assets. I believe that ownership leads to a sense of responsibility and is the only way to ensure more sustainable behavior.
