I am a New Zealand-based catalyst and social entrepreneur. I love BIG ideas – ones that are going to lead to global structural change. I am unafraid of operating beyond existing boundaries.

I specialize in developing technology propositions from the ground up, and have been one of the leaders promoting New Zealand''s contribution to the global clean tech revolution. I am co-founder of leading renewable fuel developer NXT Fuels , along with Celsias, Carbonscape, and Foodspy.

I am also Chairman of the National Whale Centre Development Trust ; a Trustee of The Akina Foundation; and The Land Trust.

I graduated from the University of Canterbury, with a Bachelor of Laws (LLB). During my legal career, I specialized in intellectual property and later enjoyed a string of successful business ventures. I have been a strategic consultant to leading public agencies.
