Dr Nicholas Hirschey’s research interests include asset pricing, microstructure and international finance. He is currently studying the effect of high-frequency traders on liquidity and factors affecting the importance of financial news in international markets.

He is an Assistant Professor of Finance at London Business School, where he teaches the Investments module in the Masters in Finance Programme and the Corporate Finance module in the Dubai Executive MBA programme.

Dr Hirschey holds a PhD in Finance from the University of Texas and a BA in Economics and Mathematics from Grinnell College, Iowa.
