Nick Caros is a 2nd year MST student at MIT interested in using operations research to understand and improve public transit, land use and transportation policy. His academic research partnership is with the MBTA, where he works on bus performance analysis and visualization. He holds degrees in engineering from UBC and NYU, and has work experience in heavy civil construction and transportation planning consulting. Outside of school, he enjoys hiking around New England, eating dim sum and reading classic literature.
