Biography

Nazira is an innovative health care executive with a proven track record of outstanding results in planning health care, social services and programs, strategy and change management, project management and performance through engaging service providers, consumer groups and stakeholders across jurisdictions. Nazira has more than 25 years of senior leadership experience in Canadian and international healthcare environments. She speaks 6 languages, with a great understanding of diversity. She is also a CARF Accreditation Surveyor for Governance, Leadership and Aging Services and supported several organizations through their accreditation process.

Over the years, Nazira has developed excellent relationships with clinical and community peers in Canada and internationally. She builds partnerships for the highest quality, compassionate care. At Yee Hong Peter K Kwok Hospice these elements come together to ensure optimum living for the dying.

Nazira has a Masters Degree in Health and Hospital Administration from the University of Ottawa and a Masters in Business Administration from Schulich School of Business at York University and the Kellogg School of Business at Northwestern University. She also carries the CHE designation with the Canadian College of Health Leaders.
