Nancy Ahern

Nancy has been in the tech world for 34 years, presently working as an engineering project manager with 2 decades of experience in a variety of communication industries. She has most recently worked on programs within DoD and Federal/Civil systems, as well as the commercial wireless network industry, all with multi-million dollar impact. In this role, Nancy leads and manages projects and development teams across global locations through all phases of project life cycle. Nancy has always been a self-starter who optimizes team performance by maximizing value-added activities while minimizing tasks with limited functional value.

Nancy began her career with Motorola where she had spent more than 20 years in the software/system engineering and project management arena. She is currently working as an engineering project manager for General Dynamics C4 Systems National Communication segment.

Specialties include: System & Software Development team leadership. Software Deployment and Site Acceptance Testing Coordination. Project and people management, data-driven projects, metrics and data analysis, Digital Six Sigma, software languages including C and Perl, website design and development, and trouble-shooting. Nancy has experience in small embedded systems as well as large, complex wireless network communications systems.
