Dr. Nadine Ostern is postdoctoral researcher at the Frankfurt School of Finance & Management. Before joining the Frankfurt School of Finance & Management, Dr. Ostern was a postdoctoral researcher at the Technische Universität Darmstadt in the field of information systems. She received her doctoral degree after two years at the Institute of Computer Science and Social Studies at the University of Freiburg. In 2016, she received a Junior Researcher Award from the University of Freiburg for her master thesis on decentralized payment systems. Nadine’s research interests are in new technologies and digitalization, especially the application of blockchain technology. Besides theoretical-conceptual work, a focus of her research lies on design-oriented research approaches.
