Biography
Sciences Po
Dr. Nadège Ragaru, a historian and a political scientist, holds a PhD in Political Science (2005), two Master’s Degrees, one in Political Science and one in East European Studies, as well as a BA from Sciences Po. She also received a Master’s Degree in International Affairs from USC (USA). In 1999-2000, she was Reid Hall Fellow at Columbia University. A CNRS researcher at Sciences Po CERI, she teaches Balkan and Eastern European history, as well as writing in the social sciences at Sciences Po.
Her current research centers on the cultural history of socialism in Bulgaria and Macedonia, as well as on the history and the historiography of the Holocaust in South-East Europe. In 2014, she obtained a grant from Sciences Po''s Scientific Advisory board (SAB) to conduct a research project on "Nationalizing ''Foundational Past'': The Holocaust as History and Memory in Bulgaria and Macedonia".
From 2010 to 2012, Nadège Ragaru was the Scientific editor of CERI''s Webcast series Au fil des mots. In 2011-2013, she coordinated the French package of the European project Grundtvig, implemented with British, Bulgarian and Polish partners. The project was devoted to "Minority Autobiographies".
