Mohamed Ali

Mohamed Ali has been a mentor and consultant trainer for the past 15 years. His venture into corporate training was a natural extension of his profession. He is a writer and director for television and other digital platforms. He has written winning concepts for over 70 television programmes in the last 15 years. He has delivered programmes to many organisations including SMEs, MCS and Government Agencies locally and internationally. Ali's areas of specialisation include crisis management, creativity, interview skills, leadership skills, media training negotiation skills,presentation skills, public speaking and and strategic planning.

Some of his clients include the Singapore Police Force, Mediacorp, CPF Board, Singapore Media Academy, Institute of Policy Studies, Ministry of Education, NUS, IMDA and the National Film Development Corporation of Malaysia.

Mohd Ali’s started his career as a Police Officer with the Singapore Police Force. He was then invited to join Mediacorp. As the Senior Programming Director in Mediacorp. he He was also appointed as a director on the board of the MES Group of Companies which the largest operator of foreign workers dormitory in Singapore. He spearheaded the group’s venture in the Middle East, namely Qatar. He is now the managing director of TheMedia Pte Ltd which engages in both television production and corporate training.

Mohd Ali’s coaching clinics draws directly from his work experience. He shares lots of real-life experiences in his sessions. Ali has always received rave reviews for his workshops. Participants have consistently found him to be one of the most engaging trainers. Mohd Ali’s years of experience in C suite positions has equipped him with effective negotiation skills and communication skills. He headed the team at the MES Group which negotiated and won a business contract from Barwa to manage a workers city build to house 50 000 foreign workers. His experience as a Senior Investigating Officer in the Singapore Police Force required him to use negotiation skills to save lives. As a head of TV stations, he has negotiated with numerous industry partners in creating and procuring content for Mediacorp.

Mohamed Ali graduated with an Honours Degree in Philosophy from the National University of Singapore. Mohamed Ali obtained a master’s degree in film and television Production from the University of Bristol (UK). He pursued his degrees as a recipient of the Public Service Commission Police Scholarship and the prestigious Chevening scholarship offered by British government to a very select group of the mid-career professionals in Commonwealth Countries, respectively.
