Peter (Min-Cheng Tu) is an established hydrological modeler and he is highly proficient with models such as HAZUS-MH, HEC-HMS, HEC-RAS, HydroCAD, and EPA SWMM. He is also an experienced programmer, specializing in C, FORTRAN, IDL, VBA, and Python, having successfully applied them on multiple projects. In addition to high-level modeling and planning, Dr. Tu has also gained practical knowledge in various fields such as bioretention / green infrastructure (GI) / low impact development (LID) design, EPA low-flow groundwater sampling protocol, and permitting. Specialties: GIS applications and geoprocessing programming, Remote sensing applications, Remote sensing application to water resources and water quality monitoring, Water resources data analysis and data mining, Surface and ground water predictive modeling / hydrological and hydraulic modeling (APEX, HAZUS-MH, Hydrus, HEC-HMS, HEC-RAS, HSPF, SWAT, EPA-SWMM, MODFLOW), Technical presentation and technical writing.
