Miguel A. Muñoz de Luna currently works as an independent financial advisor providing wealth management services. He left Deutsche Bank in December 2016, where he had worked for the previous 20 years. At Deutsche Bank, he held the positions of Director of the Private Banking Segment, Regional Director of Private Banking and Director of the HNWI Group. He has also worked at Deutsche Bank as Director of Marketing and Distribution of X-markets Spain (listed structured products). He worked as Director of Investment Management for investment and pension funds at GesNatWest (National Westminster Bank Group). Previously, he held the position of Deputy General Director of Finance at Caja Cantabria and Director of Portfolio Management in charge of individual portfolios, investment funds and pension funds at Banco Santander. He has also worked as Finance Manager and Credit Account Manager at Bank of America. He began his professional career as an engineer and construction project manager for The Austin Company. He began his academic activity in 2007 and is an adjunct professor at IE (IMBA/MIF), at IEB (Master in International Finance), where he teaches "Wealth Management". He has also been a professor of “Structured Products” at the Garrigues Study Center (Master in Banking and Finance).
