Miguel Chamochin brings a global perspective to Corporate Sustainability, Energy & Climate Change, Sustainable Finance, and Infrastructures, involving different disciplines (sustainability, finance, compliance, policies, business development and program management). His professional career has always been closely developed within various sectors (private, public, and civil society), and covering multiple industries (energy, telecom, technology, engineering & construction, supranational and finance). Working internationally with senior executives in rapidly changing markets in EMEA and the Americas for more than 20 years, allowing for the enhancement of his skills in the English, French, Portuguese, and Spanish languages.

He is a multidisciplinary manager with large experience in International Ventures. He has provided his services to Multinational Companies (Iberdrola, Telefónica, France Telecom, SGS, Yahoo!), International Organizations (European Organization for Nuclear Research - CERN, World Intellectual Property Organization – WIPO, and International Labour Organization - ILO), Multilateral Financial Institutions (Banco de Desarrollo de América Latina – CAF), Financial Markets (Spanish Stock Exchange - BME), and Civil Society (Energy without Borders).

Miguel is a passionate intrapreneur, who takes ideas and make them tangible. He is a dynamic manager who generates trust and empathy to inspire, in a collaborative way, company’s transformation, driving forward sustainability and climate action in the daily management. Honest and hard worker, he motivates teams for producing high quality outputs and achieve targets in time constantly. He has the inherent ability in creating synergies, efficiency, and partnerships among different agents (corporations, policy makers, financial institutions, assets owners & managers, MDBs and governments).

He firmly believes, that to do well there must be the right balance between experience and knowledge. Thus, Miguel holds a PhD in Economics and Governance in the Menéndez Pelayo International University (UIMP). He also has an Executive MBA from International University of Geneva, two engineering degrees in both energy and Information Communication Technologies (ICT) in the Polytechnic University of Madrid (UPM), and several executive development programs in IMD, IE, LSE, Swiss Finance Institute and UNEP-Frankfurt School of Finance and Management.
