Michelle Somes-Booher

Michelle Somes-Booher has experience in business planning, lean start-up, marketing, financial analysis and operations management. She founded and operated her own retail business and successfully executed her exit strategy when she relocated from Michigan to Wisconsin. Her background also includes sales and start up consulting. She regularly presents on various business planning topics for the UW-Madison Small Business Development Center and WARF’s Upstart program. In addition, she has taught management and entrepreneurship at several universities. She is the Director of the UW-Madison Small Business Development Center and also consults with established business, as well as scalable technology start-ups. Michelle holds a BSBA in Management from Central Michigan University (CMU) and a MBA from CMU.
