Biography
Michele received his Ph.D. from Sant''Anna School of Advanced Studies in Pisa (Italy) in 2005. During his Ph.D. studies, he spent 2 years at Carnegie Mellon University (Pittsburgh, USA) as visiting student and was then research fellow at the Ente Einaudi in Rome (Italy), a research institute within the Bank of Italy. In September 2005 he started as Lecturer in Economics at the University of Newcastle (UK), and then became Lecturer in Macroeconomics at the University of Manchester in September 2006.
