Wagner Graduate School of Public Service
Michael West is Assistant Dean of Fiscal Operations and Human Resources at NYU Wagner. He has previously worked for the Faculty of Arts and Science and the Provost''s Office at NYU, and as the Chief of Staff in the Business Office at Hunter College, which is part of the City University of New York. He holds an M.P.A. in Nonprofit Management and Policy from NYU Wagner and an M.A. in Higher Education and Student Personnel Administration from the Steinhardt School at NYU. He has over 13 years of professional experience in higher education administration, focused on financial management. He is interested in not-for-profit fiscal decision-making and optimizing organizational effectiveness, as well as the development and management of human resources.
