Michael Myers

Professor of Information Systems, Head of the Department of Information Systems and Operations Management

Professor Myers is Senior Editor of the Information and Organization journal, Senior Editor of Pacific Asia Journal of the Association for Information Systems (AIS), and Editor of the AISWorld Section on Qualitative Research. He has published in a wide range of journals, conferences and books, winning best paper awards in 1999 and 1997. He also served as President of the AIS in 2006 and 2007 and as Chair of the International Federation of Information Processing (IFIP) Working Group 8.2 from 2006 to 2008. He is a Fellow of the AIS. His research interests include the paradigm change caused by the emergence of digital natives and ubiquitous information systems; how IT is transforming organisations and industries; the social and organisational aspects of information systems; and the success and failure of information systems.
