Background

Mike is a leader in Supply Chain Management (SCM) thought and process, specializing in technical, process and innovative solutions.  This includes process, planning, technological application, change management, and application.  Lenaghan has responsibilities for all contractual, commercial and legal aspects for the flexis companies worldwide.  He is a skilled professional.

Currently, he is EVP for Flexis North America and InHouse Counsel, working closely with attorneys.   He has served on the Board of Directors of flexis North America, Inc. and flexis Information Systems, Toronto.

He has authored numerous papers and articles on SCM in trade publications and newspapers. This includes working as an Adjunct Professor at the Michigan State University in the Marketing and Supply Chain Program and a Guest Lecturer at The Ohio State University.

Mike advises attorneys and business leaders on intellectual property, purchasing, acquisition, software, transportation, international, and contract law.

Lenaghan has worked for FritoLay, International Paper and GE.  His experience includes SVP at General Electric and VP of Strategy for Island Pacific.   He has been part of operating and or advising some of the largest supply chains in the world.

His automotive experience includes consulting with:  Daimler, Honda, Navistar, General Motors, Peterbilt, Kenworth, Mazda, CNH, and others.   This experience includes hands on working with technology solutions including SAP, Oracle, i2 and Manugistics.  Lenaghan has also working in the transportation, TMS, WMS, replenishment, demand management, finance fields, associated with SCM.

Mike has a MBA in Finance and Marketing from Wagner in New York City and an undergraduate degree from Iona College in New Rochelle, NY.  He is admitted to practice before the Surface Transportation Regulatory agencies and is a member of the Council of Supply Chain Management Professionals. He graduated from the Moritz School of Law, The Ohio State University and attended St. Anne’s, Oxford University UK, all while working full time.

He is married, has three children and lives in the Columbus, Ohio area.  His wife Margaret is also an Iona College graduate and Registered Nurse.

BUSML 4382 Logistics Analytics

Will equip student with the tools and skills necessary to recognize, analyze and solve significant problems in the operation of a logistics system through the application of techniques using spreadsheet analysis, optimization and simulation. Prereq: 4380, BusMgt 2320 (330), 2321 (331), and BusMHR 2292 (BusAdm 499.01). Not open to students with credit for 781.

BUSML 5389 Logistics Decision Making

Analysis of logistics decision making in the context of the business environment; application of the solution methods needed to meet business goals. Capstone designed to expand on previous courses and prepare students to implement logistics concepts. Prereq: 4380. Prereq or concur: 4382 and BusMHR 2292 (BusAdm 499.01). Not open to students with credit for 782.
