Frankfurt School of Finance & Management

Michael Grüning holds the chair of Rechnungswesen/Controlling at the Faculty of Business Administration and Media of the Ilmenau University of Technology since March 2013. From March 2011 to March 2013 he was Professor of Accounting and Management Control at Frankfurt School of Finance and Management. His current research interests include Performance Measurement, Corporate Disclosure and Corporate Governance.

Professor Grüning red economics, physics and software technology at the University of Dresden and then worked at Handelshochschule Leipzig, the University of Dresden and the European University Viadrina Frankfurt (Oder). He was visiting professor at the Tecnológico de Monterrey (Mexico) and the Universidad Católica de Córdoba (Argentinia) and lectured at the University of Potsdam, the European Business School (EBS) and the Virtual Global University (VGU).

Professor Grüning is a member of the Editorial Board of the International Journal of Accounting and regularly reviews for the Journal of Applied Accounting Research, the Journal of International Accounting Research, Management Research News und Management Research Review.
