Boston University

Michael Gevelber is an associate professor of mechanical engineering and systems engineering. He is also the director of BU’s Advanced Materials Process Control Laboratory.

His research interests include improving materials process capabilities through process modeling, sensor development, system and control design, and experimental verification. His real-time control projects include: plasma spray, bulk crystal growth, CVD, ebeam deposition of optical coatings, and bulk crystal growth.
