Michael Ferrera

Academic Interests

Dr. Ferrera’s research interests include the management of advanced COPD as well as quality improvement for patients with COPD in the inpatient and outpatient setting. He has completed training in medical education at University of Michigan and the Shapiro Institute at Beth Israel Deaconess Medical Center. He is a core faculty member of the BIDMC Department of Medicine Simulation Curriculum. His educational interests include clinical reasoning, trainee autonomy, and medical simulation.
