Biography

Michael works as a consultant and board director. He has extensive experience in leadership positions at the municipal and provincial levels of government, as well as in healthcare. Michael’s career experience includes seven years as an Ontario Deputy Minister and 11 years as chief municipal administrator in Burlington and Hamilton-Wentworth Region. More recently, he held a succession of CEO positions, providing executive leadership to new or transitioning organizations, including the regional health authority Mississauga-Halton LHIN, regional transportation authority Metrolinx, eHealth Ontario, Canadian Urban Institute and the Institute of Public Administration of Canada.
