Miao Bai

Miao Bai is an assistant professor in the Department of Operations and Information Management at the University of Connecticut, Storrs, CT and a research collaborator at Mayo Clinic, Rochester, MN. He obtained his Ph.D. in Industrial and System Engineering at Lehigh University in 2017. He worked as a Postdoctoral Research Associate in the Kern Center for the Science of Health Care Delivery at Mayo Clinic, Rochester, MN from 2017 to 2019. His primary research interest is to leverage mathematical optimization and data analytics to develop effective and efficient analytical and algorithmic solutions for complex problems arising in healthcare systems and medicine.
