Wagner Graduate School of Public Service

Meridith Seife is an Adjunct Assistant Professor of Public Service at NYU''s Robert F. Wagner Graduate School of Public Service. She also serves as a Deputy Regional Inspector General for the Office of Evaluation and Inspections at the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services (HHS). At HHS she conducts and leads research on a variety of topics, including the Medicare prescription drug program, accountable care organizations, access to care, food safety, as well as other payment and care issues in Medicare and Medicaid. 

During her years of government service, Seife has overseen more than a hundred complex program evaluations identifying significant problems and providing HHS, Congress, and the public with useful and reliable information on public policy issues. She previously served as a Senior Healthcare Analyst with the Government Accountability Office and Analyst with the Congressional Research Service in Washington, D.C. Seife received her M.P.A. from the Maxwell School of Citizenship and Public Affairs at Syracuse University.
