About
Mauricio is the Administrative Assistant to the Quinlan Business Career Services team and supports the Career Development Center and Employer Relations team. He graduated from the University of Illinois at Chicago with a bachelor degree in economics and moved to San Antonio after college. There, he worked for the University of Texas at San Antonio Undergraduate Office of Admissions as an Admissions Specialist. After living in San Antonio for five years, he returned home to Chicago and worked for the University of Illinois at Chicago Business Career Center before coming to Loyola University Chicago. He started at Loyola’s Financial Aid Office before transitioning to his current role in Business Career Services. His hobbies are traveling around the world and running half and full marathons. He is actively involved and volunteers his time with the Association of Latino Professionals for America (ALPFA) Chicago’s and Loyola’s Chapter.
