Biography

THNK School of Creative Leadership

Interviewer, Network builder, Talent Design Thinker at European Union, European Commission

I am based in: Tunis Governorate

I am a Political Analyst and Cultural and Communications Manager. Throughout my career as a journalist, a think tank consultant on media and international relations, and as a political affairs officer with the European Union, I have enjoyed interviewing people and liberating their stories. I am particularly passionate about connecting people and finding creative solutions in areas of diplomacy, development cooperation and social entrepreneurship.

I commenced my professional life as a journalist whilst studying Political Science and International Relations in Bonn, Edinburgh and Grenoble. Following a break from academia, I worked full time as a radio journalist in South Korea before moving into Middle Eastern and North African conflict resolution and foreign policy research with the Bertelsmann Foundation.

As cultural affairs officer for the European Union, my portfolio has extended to supporting the creative industry sector in the Middle East through many initiatives and projects. My strengths are identifying actors and their needs, and developing cultural diplomacy models for governments, international organizations, businesses and creative entrepreneurs.

I have been living and working in the Middle East for 15 years. I have been based in Jordan since 2008 and have served in Israel for the European Union for 4 years.
