Matt Tarkenton is Executive Vice President of Tarkenton Companies. He is an experienced executive with financial, marketing and operating experience in various entrepreneurial environments. In addition to his operating and marketing experience, Matt has spent over 15 years, working in the investment banking field, primarily focusing on mergers, acquisitions and capital raises for emerging growth companies. He is also a committed non-profit volunteer and Board member, with particular passion for development and fund raising for organizations focusing on education and children. Matt graduated from Princeton University, earned an MBA from Harvard Business School, and holds several securities (7, 63, and 79) and insurance licenses.

In addition to a long investment banking career, I have spent the past 15 years, primarily running Tarkenton Financial, which is part of The Tarkenton Companies portfolio. Tarkenton Financial is a leading Field Marketing Organization, which support retirement planners with marketing, product support (primarily life insurance and annuities) and business coaching services. I also have extensive experience as a fund raiser and non-profit board member with organizations such as Youth Villages, Youth Villages of Georgia (formerly Inner Harbour), Special Olympics Georgia, Princeton University, The Westminster School, The Cathedral of St. Phillip and The Chick-fil-A Peach Bowl.
