Massa Ndong received the degree in mathematics, physics, and computer science and the Diploma degree in electronics and telecommunications from Gaston Berger University, Saint-Louis, Senegal, in 2002 and 2006, respectively, and the master’s and Ph.D. degrees in electrical engineering (wireless communications), in 2009 and 2015, respectively.

He was a Postdoctoral Researcher at NYUAD, in 2018, where he developed learning algorithms for millimeter-wave MIMO. His current research interests include spectral and energy efficiency distributed MIMO wireless communications, D2D communications with unmanned aerial systems (UAS), and artificial intelligence/machine learning. He received the Japanese MEXT Scholarship.
