Martin is responsible for CISL's online learning services helping companies and individuals develop the necessary skills and expertise to address sustainability challenges and identify exciting commercial opportunities by applying innovative business models of the future.

Biography

Martin joined the Institute in 2008 and over a diverse career as a business convenor and advisor has worked with the food, agriculture, utility, tourism and extractive sectors, spending over a decade based in several African countries developing partnerships with governments and NGOs to tackle natural resource challenges. Martin has always been keen to use the latest technology to promote new ways of learning and positive change and early in his career pioneered the use of social-action broadcasting with the BBC and other companies to mainstream progressive social agendas. Martin is a member of the UK Government’s Ecosystem Market Task Force and holds a Masters in Environmental Management from Imperial College London.
