SDA Bocconi School of Management

Marta Barbieri is SDA Professor of Public Management and Policy.

At SDA Bocconi, she was Director of the Executive Education Custom Programs Division Public Administration, Health Care and Not for Profit Organizations. She also was responsible of the Executive Master in Management of Regional Authorities (EMMER) and of the Public Administration Human Resource Community (PAHRC). In addition to training and research activities on her topics of interest, she designs and coordinates numerous training and research initiatives (master, custom programs, market courses, applied research projects, etc.) with public institutions and hospitals.

Her research activities focus on three main topics: Human Resources management, measurement and evaluation of organizational and individualperformance and organization of public administrations.

She is the author of numerous books and articles on the subject. Her works have been published in the series White Paper OCAP, OASI and Economia & Management: Barbieri M., Girosante G., Valotti G. Marta earned a Degree in Business Administration from Bocconi University, a Ph.D. in Economics of Public Companies and Administrations at the University of Parma and a Diploma in “Programa de Certificación en Coaching Ejecutivo”.
