Biography
Dr. Marika Taishoff is the Director of the MBA Program at the International University of Monaco, where she also teaches courses in Strategy, in Marketing, and in Luxury Services Management & Marketing. She is also an internationally acclaimed and award-winning case author in these areas. Prior to joining IUM in 2009, she had worked at the International Institute for Management Development (IMD), in Lausanne; at Bocconi Business School in Milan; and at Imperial College Business School in London.
But well before her interests spanned to the fields of business strategy and management, her love revolved around literature. Indeed, amongst her “academic qualifications”, she holds a BA in English Literature from Barnard College, NY; and a Master of Arts degree in Russian and Comparative Literature from Columbia University, NY. Marika is thus very enthusiastic about this creative writing initiative spearheaded by TCN and Fraser Yachts, and can’t wait to be immersed in this reading experience!
