Academic Division: FinanceMaria Paula Serna, IACCP, recently joined the Babson community as an adjunct instructor in the Finance Department. She has over 10 years of experience in Compliance for Asset Management Firms, starting her career at State Street Bank (Formerly Investor Bank & Trust), where she served in various compliance and client service roles. Maria currently works at The Boston Company Asset Management LLC as a Compliance Associate. Her primary responsibilities include; implementing compliance testing program, audit support, regulatory filing, RIC compliance reporting, and reviewing investment client guidelines. Maria received a B.S in Finance from Bentley University and a M.S from Boston University. In 2015, Maria became a designated Investment Adviser Certified Compliance Professional (IACCP).
