Maria Rios

María Paula Ríos, graduated from our Department of Mathematics and Uniandina Industrial Engineer, is one of the four leading doctors of innovation in Colombia highlighted by Semana Magazine. The current Vice President of Innovation of Alianza Team demonstrates the preponderant female presence in the world of work, as well as the business commitment to professionals with doctoral training.

From the Universidad de los Andes he left for the United States to the University of Chicago to study for a master's degree and a doctorate in statistics, but unlike many of his more academically focused colleagues, he decided to combine those studies with an MBA to pursue his theoretical knowledge to the real world.
