Maria Jesus Lorca Susino

• Hold a Master of Science in Economics by the University of Miami (1998), a Master in Business Administration in International Finance (1997), and a Bachelors of Arts and Science in Political Science (1995).
• I have a record of research and publications in economics.

Since January 2006, I am an instructor of Economics for the Economic Department at the University of Miami. Further, I am an Associate Editor at the European Union Center of the University of Miami where I have been working for since January 2006.

My research focus on:

• The European Union Integration Process as a Model
• The Euro as a Common Currency and its evolution vis-à-vis other currencies and impact on competitiveness, and employment for political and economic purposes.
• The Labor Market as the foundation for a healthy and prosperous economy
