María Luisa Blázquez has a PhD in Economics and Business Administration from the Comillas Pontifical University, an MBA from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT) and a Law and Business Degree from the Comillas Pontifical University (E-3).

She currently teaches at Icade and works at the International Center for Competitiveness at IESE Business School. She is also an Instructor at the European Foundation for Cluster Excellence where she collaborates in projects to improve competitiveness for different countries. She has been an Independent Director at Airtificial and has worked in strategy consulting.
