Main Research Fields: Microeconomics, Game Theory, Public Economics, Industrial Organization, Development Economics.

My research locates at the intersection between Microeconomics, Game Theory, Industrial Organization and Public Economics. Some of my recent papers focus on the stability of cooperation among coalitions and groups, on firms' collusive agreements in markets where products are vertically differentiated and on collaborations between nongovernmental and nonprofit organizations.
In 2011 I joined the University of Rome La Sapienza, where I am currently a Full Professor of Economics. I teach Microeconomics (BSc), Industrial Economics & Management (MSc) and Microeconomics Topics (PhD). I previously taught at the University of Urbino, Italy, IMT Lucca and London School of Economics, UK.

I hold a PhD and an MPhil. in Economics at the London School of Economics, an MSc in Economics at the Université Catholique de Louvain and a BSc as well as a Doctorate in Economics at the University of Rome La Sapienza.

Since 2016 I am the Editor-in-chief of Annals of Public and Cooperative Economics, a journal published by Wiley-Blackwell (2021 2-year IF: 1.679, Cite Score: 2.9, Rivista di class A per tutti I SSD A13 dal 2016). I am also on the Editorial Board of Games and Ciriec Journal of Public, Social and Cooperative Economics.

I have recently coordinated the European Working Group on Organization and Governance in Social Economy Enterprises sponsored by CIRIEC International.

Since 2014 I am in the program chair of the Oligo Workshop, an international workshop devoted to the topics of oligopoly and game theory.

I am member of the Scientific Committee of ASSET 2022 and SING 17 European Game Theory Conference 2022.

I am the Faculty President of the Assurance Quality Office and Deputy Coordinator of the PhD. Program on Social and Economic Sciences at Sapienza, member of the Scientific Committee of CIRIEC International for Social Economics, a Fellow of the Game Theory Society, of the European Economic Association for Industrial Economics and of Società Italiana degli Economisti.
