Marc Williams

Marc Williams is an institutional portfolio manager at Leith Wheeler. He has over 25 years of experience in the pension and investment industry spanning Canada and the United Kingdom. Williams was an actuary and investment consultant at a large multinational consulting organization for 17 years and worked for a few years at an alternative asset management firm before joining Leith Wheeler in 2015. His clients have included corporate, government and union pension plans as well as endowments/foundations and First Nations funds. The work he has done for them has included investment manager searches, education sessions, asset/liability risk studies, SIPP drafting and review, and actuarial valuations. Williams has been a regular speaker at a variety of industry events, including events for the International Foundation. He is a CFA® charterholder, a fellow of the Institute and Faculty of Actuaries (UK), and a fellow of the Canadian Institute of Actuaries (FCIA).
