Marc Ankerman has been in the Human Resource training and education field for over 30 years. Marc is a former Senior Lecturer at Ohio State University’s Fisher College of Business, delivering a variety of professional development courses to full time and part time MBA students. Marc received the Outstanding Elective Professor in the WPMBA program by the graduating Class of 2017 for exceptional teaching, mentoring and guidance of students. He is also the recipient of the 2013 Provost Award for Distinguished Teaching at THE Ohio State University. He was also elected to the OSU Teaching Academy and serves on the board and selection committee. Marc is also the President of Ankerman Training Solutions, LLC, and Case Chosen Candidates, LLC and specializes in employee retention, succession planning, assimilation, onboarding and creating customized training solutions for his clients.
He designed and created Professional Business Communications Skills (PBCS), as a core course in the Fisher MBA curriculum. He also designed and developed a variety of advanced professional communication courses which include enhancing written communication and a special PhD communication course delivered at Fisher. He has been the faculty advisor for 18 years and coached the Internal, Fisher Big 10, Black MBA, MLHR internal and External, International and other Case Competition teams at Fisher. Marc is a former Director of Training at Williams-Sonoma, Express (part of L-Brands Inc.), Michigan National Bank, Independence One Mortgage Corporation and Galileo International. He specializes in the multi-unit, multi divisional retail world.
