Biography

A seasoned, innovative, social justice administrator with significant experience and demonstrated success in state government, private, nonprofit and academic sectors.

Previous executive management positions in healthcare and health plans include behavioral healthcare integration, Medicaid maximization as well as Medicaid Re-Design. In addition, child welfare, juvenile justice, education administration, intergovernmental relations, strategic planning and organizational transformation. Administrative scope included complex, multi source budgets exceeding 35 million dollars with two hundred staff.

From 2016 - 2018, I served as a strategic, behavioral health consultant in education, community-based organizations and a DSRIP PPS. Fall 2018, I assumed an Adjunct faculty position at Fordham University, Graduate School of Social Service and Advisor/Field Education Instructor at Yeshiva University, Wurzweiler School of Social Work.

As a result of Hurricanes Irma and Maria (2017-2018), designed and provided behavioral health services in Puerto Rico with a humanitarian medical team sponsored by the NYS Nurses Association. In 2018, completed the American Red Cross training for Emergency Disaster Mental Health Services.

From 2019-2021, served on the Advisory Board, Joseph Stern Center for Social Responsibility, Marlene Meyerson JCC.

On a personal note, I was born, raised and reside in the Bronx. Forever advocate for economically - challenged individuals and disenfranchised communities. Reimagination is transformative.
