EMLYON Business School

Mar Pérezts is Associate Professor at EMLYON Business School in the Management, Law and Human Resources department. Originally from Mexico, she graduated from the Ecole Normale Supérieure d’Ulm in Philosophy before pursuing her studies with a PhD in Management Science. She took part of the CEFAG program and with the support from the FNEGE she was a visiting scholar at the University of Alberta in Canada. Her research is transversal, and seeks to link managerial and organizational questions, such as ethics in business, with philosophical and sociological approaches. Her work has been published in the Journal of Business Ethics, Organization and the European Management Journal. Mar Pérezts is a member of OCE Research Center and is head of RECAPSS (Project of Applied research in Social Sciences).

EDUCATION

  • 2014 Ph.D in Management Science, specialized in Business Ethics, (Supervisor Jean-Philippe Bouilloud) ESCP Europe and Université de Paris 1 Panthéon Sorbonne: "Ethics as situated practice: a multilevel study on ethics at work in banking compliance". Awarded the Best Dissertation in Strategic Management Award by FNEGE-AIMS.
