Biography

Manas Kumar Haldar (Senior Member, IEEE) received the Ph.D. degree from the University of Cambridge, Cambridge, U.K. He was with the Surface Acoustic Wave Research Group, University of Oxford. He has about 38 years of teaching experience in electrical engineering at the National University of Singapore, Swinburne University of Technology, and University Malaysia Sabah.

He is currently an Adjunct Associate Professor with the Swinburne University of Technology. He has published on a variety of topics, such as lightning induced over voltages, smart grid, finite elements, steganography, biometrics, optical and wireless communications, semiconductor lasers, and RF filters. His current research interests include RF electronics and wireless communications.
